When we talk about Indian hip-hop today, it’s impossible not to mention Gully Gang. More than just a crew, Gully Gang is a movement started by rapper Divine in 2019. The aim was simple—give young rappers from the streets of India a platform to showcase their voices.

The inspiration came from the rise of underground Mumbai rap, where artists from small neighborhoods started gaining attention. Divine, being one of the pioneers, decided to build a collective that nurtures talent instead of competing with it. Thus, Gully Gang was born.

The crew includes artists like D’Evil, Kaam Bhaari, Shah Rule, MC Altaf, and others—each with their own unique style. Together, they’ve released powerful tracks and taken Desi Hip-Hop beyond just YouTube and into festivals, concerts, and even global collaborations.

More than music, Gully Gang represents unity and empowerment. It’s about telling stories of the streets, struggles, and dreams. For many young people, the crew has become a symbol of hope—that no matter where you come from, your voice matters.

Today, Gully Gang is not only a music label but also a culture that continues to inspire the next generation of rappers and fans alike.
